How do I store my Lithium batteries?
Storage instructions

- Store in cool room semi charged – 50% charge is good – do this by fully draining your battery on the element then charge for 2-3hrs
- Make sure battery is turned off and disconnect from element and charger
- Batteries should be discharged and charged up at least every 6 months

Heated Boot Liners
Pairing to device
- Fully charge the batteries
- An internet connection is required
- Make sure any updates on your phone are either installed or deleted.
- Install the Thermic App and go to the connect your device page, circle with red +.
- Turn the batteries on.
- Press the red + then on the next page add both batteries.
- Go through the customization until you reach the page where the battery output is displayed in columns.
- Scroll the left side up to 10 and the right side down to 1, the LED light that is solid should be placed on your left and the one flashing slowly on your right.
- On the last page on the bottom where the batteries are listed click on the letter i in the circle, select update the firmware.
- Repeat the upgrade for the second battery.
Bluetooth reset
If the Thermic App is installed currently, it is best to delete and start over. Press on the App logo you will either be provided the option to delete, or the App logo will start to vibrate and display an X, select the X, and delete
Note the batteries can only be paired to one device at a time, if you wish to change the device you are using reset the batteries then pair to the new device.
Note: It is possible that some of these batteries end up with a coating of “glue smoke” on their connectors because of the manufacturing process. We recommend that you either disconnect and then reconnect the battery to liner connection or simply switch the batteries between the left and right boots to remove this by-product and assist in trouble free operation.

Heated Gloves and Mittens
Operating
It is possible that some of these batteries end up with a coating of “glue smoke” on their connectors because of the manufacturing process. We recommend that you either disconnect and then reconnect the battery to glove / mitten connection or simply switch the batteries between the left and right glove in order to remove this by-product and assist in trouble free operation.

Battery Reset
These batteries have been equipped with an automatic reboot system that has been installed at the factory level.
Pairing to Device
- Make sure any other updates are either installed or deleted.
- Install the Therm-ic App and go to the connect your device page, circle with the red +
- Connect the USB Bluetooth cable to the Jacket/ Vest then connect the Powerbank to the cable.
- The blue LED should now be flashing rapidly, “discovery mode”
- Press the red + on your device and on the next page choose ADD for the battery.
- Go through the customization.
- On the last page on the bottom where the battery is listed click on the letter i in the circle select upgrade firmware.
Bluetooth reset

This version has the battery reboot feature built in. Please make sure to fully charge the batteries then once paired to your device, upgrade the firmware on both batteries prior to their first use. This will ensure trouble free operation as the battery will “repair” itself should it encounter any difficulties.
Pairing to device
- Fully charge the batteries
- An internet connection is required
- Make sure any other unrelated updates on the device are either installed or deleted.
- Install the Therm-ic App and go to the connect your device page (Circle with the red +)
- Press and hold the power button on your batteries, both at the same time, the LED will flash slowly then as soon as they turn solid release the power buttons.

Operating
- Most of these batteries will indicate the heat level they are operating on by the LED flashes.
- Single flash = level 1, double flash = level 2 and solid = level 3
- Some of production 171 as well as 181 are equipped with a pulse mode as an energy saving feature, the batteries are locked into the setting you have selected and will indicate by a series of LED flashes. However, after 5-6 seconds the LED reverts to a pulse mode flash. The best way to verify is to put on to level 3, allow them to enter the pulse mode then press and release the power button. The LED will again stay solid for 5-6 seconds then go back into pulse mode.

Transportation of Batteries
All of the Lithium-ion batteries that Sidas produces are permitted aboard airlines. They must be carried onboard they cannot be checked through in luggage. Airlines are currently looking into limiting the total amount of batteries that are allowed to be carried onboard per passenger.
This measurement will be calculated by totaling the amount of Watt Hours.
